Someone has moved things around in your home
One evening there's a yellow envelope in the letterbox, addressed «to whoever lives here now». The stamp reads: Archive of Houses, Case file 0.
The Archivist writes that someone has stayed behind in your house. The Tenant. He has lived in every house in the catalogue, and in each one, after three knocks at 03:12, he left twelve things out of place. One per room. To close the case file you have to find them and put them back where they belong.
In the margins are the pencil notes of whoever had the case file before you. A reader who signs herself M. She helps you. At some point she stops writing.
What's inside
You play with the book, a pencil, a pair of scissors, a torch and things every home has: a mirror, a glass, a handful of rice. The phone is optional: it adds the voice, takes nothing away, and the book is complete without it.
